
Quick Start
- Open a program in the editor and navigate to the Tasks tab.
- Click Add Task and enter a title (e.g., “Set up communion table”).
- Set the Timing to Before, During, or After service.
- Assign a volunteer and click Save.

Create Tasks with Timing
Set Category and Timing
Select a Category (e.g., Setup, AV, Hospitality). Set the Timing:
- Before — Completed before the service starts (sound check, stage setup)
- During — Performed during the service (livestream, slide control)
- After — Completed after the service (equipment teardown, cleanup)
Assign Volunteers to Tasks
- Click on an existing task card.
- Click Assign and select a collaborator from the dropdown.
- The assignment respects the collaborator’s availability and qualifications.
- Click Save.
Use Task Categories with Staffing Templates
Task categories can carry staffing templates that auto-suggest roles when you create a task:Add a Staffing Template
Create or edit a task category (e.g., “AV Setup”). In the Staffing Template section, define the default roles needed (e.g., 1 Sound Tech, 1 Projector Operator).

View Tasks from the Standalone Page
- Navigate to Tasks in the sidebar for a cross-program view.
- Tasks are grouped by program and sorted by date.
- Filter by timing (Before/During/After) or assignment status.
