The Member Directory is the foundation of AdoraCare. Every person in your congregation gets a rich profile with contact details, family links, fellowship membership, life events, care history, and engagement insights — all in one place.

Quick Start

  1. Navigate to Members in the sidebar.
  2. Click Add Member and fill in their name, contact info, and church location.
  3. The member profile is created — you can now link them to a family, fellowship, or care request.

Member Profiles

Each member profile includes:
  • Contact information — Phone, email, address with geocoding
  • Photo — Upload or use a generated avatar
  • Family links — Which family unit they belong to and their role (head, spouse, child, etc.)
  • Fellowship membership — Which small groups they’re part of
  • Life events — Baptism, wedding, milestones timeline
  • Care activity — Care requests, pastoral notes, and prayer requests linked to them
  • Engagement score — An automatically computed metric based on attendance, serving, and group participation

How-to Guide

Open the Directory

Go to Members in the AdoraCare sidebar.
2

Click Add Member

Fill in first name, last name, and at least one contact method (email or phone).

  • Church location
  • Fellowship group
  • Membership status (active, inactive)
  • Tags (custom labels you define)

Bulk Import

Import members from a CSV file. The importer maps columns to fields and detects duplicates before creating records.

Engagement Scoring

AdoraCare automatically computes an engagement score for each member based on:
FactorWeight
Attendance frequencyHigh
Fellowship participationMedium
Serving/volunteeringMedium
Care interactionsLow
The score helps pastoral staff identify members who may need outreach or re-engagement.

Pro Tips

Use tags to create custom segments (e.g., “New Believer”, “Youth Leader”, “Homebound”) for targeted pastoral care.
The member profile’s Activity tab shows a unified timeline of care requests, life events, and pastoral notes — giving you the full picture before a visit.
