The Family page in the self-service portal lets members see their household at a glance — who belongs to their family unit, each person’s role, and who is the primary contact.

What Members See

  • Family name — The household surname
  • Family members — Each member listed with:
    • Full name
    • Role (Head, Spouse, Child, Relative, Other)
    • Primary contact badge
  • Shared address — The household address on file

How It Works

When a member opens the Family page, the portal fetches their family_members records through the portal-auth edge function. Only families linked to the authenticated member are returned.
Members can view their family information but cannot add or remove family members. Changes to family structure must be made by an admin through the full AdoraCare interface.
