Care Requests let your pastoral team document and track every care need — hospital visits, counseling referrals, practical help, crisis support. Each request has a status, urgency level, assignment, and resolution trail.

Quick Start

  1. Navigate to Care Requests in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Request and fill in the title, description, and urgency.
  3. Link the request to a member or family.
  4. Assign it to a pastoral team member.

Request Fields

How-to Guide

Create a Request

Open Care Requests

Go to Care Requests in the sidebar.

Click New Request

Enter the title, description, category, and urgency level.

Link to a Person

Search for the member or family this request concerns.

Assign

Choose a pastoral team member to handle the request.

Resolve a Request

  1. Open the request and update the status to Resolved.
  2. Add resolution notes describing the outcome.
  3. The resolved date is recorded automatically.

Custom Categories

Administrators can customize care categories from Settings → Catalogs → Care Categories. Add, rename, reorder, or deactivate categories to match your church’s care vocabulary.

Pro Tips

Filter by urgency = Critical to see all high-priority needs at a glance. Assign these during your weekly pastoral team meeting.
Care requests appear in the linked member’s Activity tab, giving the full care history to anyone doing a follow-up visit.
