| Active | Ongoing counseling sessions |
| Review | Evaluating progress and considering next steps |
| Closed | Counseling engagement completed |
Quick Start
- Go to Cases in the AdoraCounsel sidebar.
- Click New Case.
- Either create a new counselee or select an existing one.
- Optionally set a case title (e.g., “Anxiety & Faith Struggles”).
- The case opens in Intake status.

Create a Case from an Intake Submission
When you Accept an intake submission, a new Case is automatically created with the counselee pre-populated from the PDI form data. If the submission email matches an AdoraCare member, the counselee is automatically linked.
Counselee Profile
Each case is linked to a counselee with the following fields:| Field | Description |

| Marital Status | Single, Married, Divorced, Widowed |
| Key Burdens | Tag-style presenting concerns |
| Life Story | Free-text narrative |
